I finally finished the Fast Finish Throw . I started it in November, but had to put it aside for the Christmas craziness. It uses the Lion Brand Speed Stix (US 50, 25mm) which makes for a very loose knit, even using 4 strands of yarn held together. I’m not sure I really liked using the super fat needles. Sort of like knitting with baseball bats (or what I imagine knitting with baseball bats would be like). My arms got very tired, and you can forget holding your yarn in any managable way. Still, it’s the first Finished Object of 2007, and the youngest son loves it and has adopted it as his own.
